6. WordPress and Comments
If you leave a comment on the Site, the comment text and its metadata are retained so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you have a public profile image. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.
7. Analytics — Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information such as pages visited, session duration, referral source, approximate location, and device characteristics. This information is transmitted to and stored by Google.

We use MailerLite to manage our email subscriber list and send newsletters and updates. When you subscribe, your email address and any name you provide are stored on MailerLite’s servers and processed on our behalf.
MailerLite may collect engagement data such as whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to understand which content resonates with our audience and to improve our emails.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time, and we will stop sending marketing emails promptly. We may retain a record of your unsubscribe request to honor your preference.

12. Data Retention

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Opt out of personalized advertising (Section 9)
- Block or delete cookies via your browser
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided to us

The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (IP address, email address, name); internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing history on our Site, interaction with ads); and inferences drawn from the above (audience interest categories used for advertising).
Our use of advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, use the controls described in Section 9 or contact us at info@testmiles.com. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically feasible.

15. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in a country whose data protection laws differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, our providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
16. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@testmiles.com and we will delete it.
17. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for responding to DNT signals, and the Site does not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 14.2.

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including manufacturer sites, video platforms, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. This Policy applies only to testmiles.com.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated more prominently, such as through a notice on the Site or an email to subscribers. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
