Corrections and Updates Policy

Test Miles is committed to correcting the factual record openly, accurately and promptly.

How to Report an Error

Email nik@testmiles.com with the subject “Correction Request,” the article URL, the precise statement under review and any supporting sources. Every credible report receives editorial consideration.

Our Review Process

An editor checks the disputed statement against primary records, original interviews and other credible evidence. Material verified factual errors are corrected in the story. Editorial leadership reviews and approves corrections. We will not change accurate reporting solely because it is unwelcome to a source or advertiser.

How We Label Changes

Correction: If an earlier version reported a substantive fact incorrectly, we correct the body and append a dated, visible note identifying what was wrong and the corrected information. The original publication date and article URL are retained. Update: When new information emerges after publication without an earlier factual mistake, we may add a dated update. Routine edit: Typographical, formatting and stylistic fixes that do not change meaning do not require a notice.

Sample notice: Correction — [date]: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated [inaccurate fact]. The correct information is [verified fact]. The article has been corrected.

Video and Syndicated Content

For a substantive error in an original video or syndicated story, we seek to update the relevant version or clearly attach a correction, and notify distribution partners where appropriate. We preserve an internal record of corrections and their supporting evidence.
