Ford Bronco Desert Rising adds bold Utah style to the Bronco Outer Banks for $13,695, blending coral, rose and berry-inspired design details.

The price is $13,695, making Desert Rising a meaningful upgrade rather than a casual accessory order. Yet Ford’s idea is not simply to attach magenta graphics to a Bronco and send it toward the nearest trail. The package brings the exterior, cabin and off-road details together as one coordinated design.

Orders opened July 27, 2026. Desert Rising is also the first entry in Ford Custom Garage’s new Horizon Series, suggesting that this Utah-inspired Bronco is the beginning of a broader line of lifestyle-focused packages.

Utah Gives the Bronco an Unexpected Color Story

Senior designer Bhavna Mistry said the team looked beyond Ford’s desert-racing history to the landscape surrounding it. The inspiration came from the quieter moments before and after racing, when the desert changes color and the scenery becomes its own reward.

The Great Salt Lake supplied one of the most unusual references. During warmer, drier conditions, the lake’s north arm can appear coral, rose or nearly neon as pigmented microorganisms thrive in the highly saline water. That natural color gave Ford a convincing reason to use tones rarely associated with a rugged SUV.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes added another layer. Their colors shift with the light, becoming especially rich at dawn and dusk. Ford also looked to the bright magenta blooms that can suddenly appear on desert cactus after rare rainfall.

That contrast fits the Bronco surprisingly well. Desert Rising combines a vehicle built for difficult terrain with colors that feel energetic and expressive. Rugged does not always have to mean beige.

Ford Bronco Desert Rising Goes Beyond Graphics

Optional body-side graphics offer an abstract interpretation of the Utah landscapes, allowing customers to decide how loudly they want their Bronco to announce itself. Buyers who prefer a cleaner look can leave them off without losing the rest of the package’s color story.

Inside, Katzkin supplies two-tone leather seats in magenta and black with accent stitching. Color on the grab handles connects the cabin with exterior details, including the trail sights, tailgate bucking Bronco emblem and Method wheels.

The wheels receive a small but important flourish: magenta on the center caps. There is also a limited-edition serialized center-console badge. Those details matter because a successful custom package should feel designed as a complete vehicle, not assembled during a hurried walk through an accessory catalog.

Why the $13,695 Package May Make Sense

No one will mistake $13,695 for pocket change. However, Desert Rising is aimed at buyers who were already planning to personalize their Bronco and would rather have Ford coordinate the finished result.

Ford says almost half of its customers want to personalize their vehicles. Ford Custom Garage is intended to make that process easier by combining compatible, model-specific components into a curated package.

The practical advantage is factory backing. Ford says the packages use model-specific Ford Racing Parts and accessories considered original equipment manufacturer components. When installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician, they maintain the vehicle’s standard new-vehicle warranty.

Desert Rising is available for the Bronco Outer Banks in Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray and Ruby Red. That selection gives buyers several ways to balance the magenta details, from sharp contrast to a warmer appearance.

The Horizon Series Starts Here

Desert Rising will not suit every Bronco buyer, and Ford is not pretending otherwise. Its purpose is to give customers who want something bold, expressive and fun a complete design with a genuine connection to a place.

That may be the package’s greatest strength. The colors are not random, and the details are not decorative additions searching for a theme. They tell a consistent story about Utah’s desert at the moments when an apparently harsh landscape becomes unexpectedly beautiful.

Ford says more Horizon Series packages are coming. Desert Rising makes a confident opening statement: a Bronco can be capable, factory-backed and serious about leaving the pavement without taking itself quite so seriously.
