According to BMW, more than 90 percent of BMW 2-series Gran Coupe buyers are new to the BMW brand.
The BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe is one of BMW’s latest endeavors to make luxury more affordable for the everyday driver. The Gran Coupe starts at $35,700 and the Gran Coupe xDrive comes in at $37,700. BMW’s design has always been unlike any other marque; their cars are distinct in both style and performance with a smooth, muscular look that strikes an intense presence on the road.
As expected, this vehicle sports BMW’s signature kidney grille in front, but it comes with sleeker headlights than what you would find on its predecessor (the 1-Series). A large air intake near the bottom border adds character while cooling this engine down. The lower grille also resembles BMW styling by having bars parallel to each other across the full width of the grille. As far as curves go, they are found all around this car with a dominating presence.
Both the 228i and 228i xDrive come with the extremely powerful 2.0-Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder. The xDrive however, unlocks intelligent all-wheel-drive vs the standard front-wheel drive of the Gran Coupe.
The available M Sport Package heightens the athletic character of your 2 Gran Coupe with exclusive wheel options, M Sport suspension and steering, M steering wheel, an Aerodynamic Kit with the rear spoiler, and Shadowline exterior trim
The new My BMW App lets you lock and unlock doors, check your vehicle status, and more. With available Remote Engine Start, you can even start your BMW from your compatible mobile device.
If all of that wasn’t enough to purchase one, here is the nail in the coffin. It has driver and passenger knee airbags. Go ahead and read that again.
